Global Leadership Panel – Greater Middle East
Fight Cancer Global has assembled Global Leadership Panel members from over 45 countries so far and plan to top over 100 countries by 2020. We’d like to highlight a few Survivors, Healthcare Professionals, Non-Profit founders and Doctors from the Greater Middle East who have chosen to stand with us against Cancer.
Dr. Ahmed Elsakka - Alexandria, Egypt
Dr. Elsakka is a Metabolic Therapies Specialist/Molecular Biologist whose research field includes neuro-metabolism, ozone therapy, regenerative medicine, tissue healing and metabolic management of cancer. He has been working with Professor Thomas Seyfried (a global leader in Cancer Metabolism study) performing work including adding metabolic and oxidative stress on cancer cells specific to metabolic and chemical pathways.
Dr. Ranan Gulhan Aktas MD – Istanbul, Turkey
A Professor of Histology and Embryology with almost 20 years of experience in cancer and stem cell biology, Prof. Dr. Aktas has been serving as the Director of Cancer and Stem Cell Research Center at Maltepe University as well. She has received numerous national and international awards related to her studies on liver cancer and cancer stem cells, including “2018 Best Innovative Medical Doctor in Basic Sciences in Turkey”.
Dr. Mohammed Babakri - Aden, Yemen
A Urologic Surgeon and Vice President of Yemeni Urology Association, Dr. Babakri has pioneered the introduction of percutaneous and laparoscopic urologic surgery to Aden Hospitals and served as reviewer and editor of Urology Annals (official journal of Saudi Urology Association) and Urology and Nephrology Open Access Journal.
Dr. Afshan Khattak - Peshawar, Pakistan
A Pediatric Oncology Consultant, highlights of Dr, Khattak’s almost 20 year career include serving as Acting Head of Pediatric Oncology at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre. She has also had her work featured in several publications including International Journal of Collaborative Research on Internal Medicine & Public Health and served as member on multiple societies including College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan.
Maha Arnaout– Amman, Jordan
A Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Consultant, Maha has worked with the renown King Hussein Cancer Center for over 10 years, building the Department of Hematology & Oncology, the first of its kind in Jordan, from the ground up. She received the Certificate of Achievement for Dedication and Commitment to the Global Cancer Control Mission from American Cancer Society in 2003 and 2004.
Dr. Ahmed Farag – Cairo, Egypt
Professor Emeritus with Cairo University, Dr. Farag has been featured in 25 Publications (including 16 international publications) regarding a variety of topics with the space of Colorectal Cancer. He is a member of American Society for Colorectal Surgeons (ASCRS), Ex- President of the Egyptian Group for Colorectal Surgeons (EGCRS) 2014 -2015 and President of the Egyptian Board for Colorectal Fellowship.
FCG’s Partnership Initiative is focused on organizations in multiple verticals, including Hospitals, Pharmaceutical and Biomed companies, Non-Profits, Health and Wellness companies, Governments, Academic Institutions and Research Institutions. Currently represented by over 90 Partners and over 150 Global Leadership Panel members in over 45 countries, we intend to accumulate over 1000 Partners and 1000 Leadership Panel members in over 100 countries by 2020.

These pillars are fully integrated with multiple comprehensive platforms to engage players with one another at all levels, as they leverage collaborative partners to create synergy, bridge gaps, implement solutions and deliver the finest cancer care.
Our Global initiative and Vision is universally impacting and transforming the Oncology space using a 360 degree approach through Global Engagement and Collaboration, aligning Patients and Survivors with All Professionals - including Hospitals, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Governments, Academic Institutions, Non-Profits and more - to result in ONE shared vision and responsibility, to serve all those living with Cancer.
